Works

Masha Solus consistently develops the method of inversion as a primary tool for re-examining reality. Working primarily in watercolor, drawing, and multilayered material constructions, the artist frequently employs appropriation of historical and personal sources. Across projects from different years, her practice explores the distortion of perception, mechanisms of memory, and the tension between past and present.

Go the Fuck to Sleep is an appropriation of Adam Mansbach’s cult children’s book of the same title.
