This project is an attempt to rethink cultural heritage not as something fixed, but as a living, shifting fabric woven into our present. Through portraits created in inverted color, I search for a visual language that captures the tension between preservation and transformation—between memory and the choices we make today.

By inverting these images, I invite the viewer to see the familiar from an anamorphic perspective—distorted in a way that reveals new meaning. These distortions are not arbitrary: they uncover hidden cultural codes and ask what exactly we have inherited—and how that inheritance continues to shape us now.

Reinterpretation is not about severing ties with the past, but about engaging in an honest—sometimes painful—dialogue with it. It’s a way of looking into tradition, not to find rest, but to discover movement.
