The project is based on the book “Theory of Solid State” from the library of Masha Solus’s father, a physicist and mathematician. The artist uses its pages as a foundation for a personal diary, inscribing archival family stories and personal reflections.

A multilayered inversion of a family photograph — depicting the parents pushing young Masha and her sister in a stroller under a “meat” sign — appears on the cover. Working in the extended leporello format, Solus continues the line of her previous diaries, translating past and present into the language of inversion.
